…. at least that is what it feels like… I certainly disappeared from blogland! I know that as I get older the years go by faster, but last year was just ridiculous. I really don’t know where it went! I am hoping that this year will go a little slower and I will get time to keep up with my blog and all my blog friends.
So Happy New Year everyone! I have been wandering around some of blogland looking at the new challenges and boms out there, and so far I have been sucked into a few 
It feels good to be back and to have a clean slate ahead of me to make plans and look forward to.
I am not sure I will choose a word for this year! Last year it didn’t turn out so well, although I have to say that in the last month I have done more organizing than in the whole year! We moved house three months ago and some of the boxes still weren’t unpacked. Last week I decided I needed to tackle the “school room”. DS says I’m fooling no-one calling it a school room since 90% of the stuff in it is sewing related Here are a few photos:

They are all sorted at least, and it is so nice to be able to find things. I also organized my stash:
But I haven’t finished with these bookshelves yet:
See the bookshelf on the left? That is school stuff, hence it is the school room Actually the big tables in the middle that still have stuff needing sorting are where we are going to do school so that makes it more of a school room… right???!!!!
At least we have a spot to do our “work” whether it is school or sewing…. and maybe I can even get some sewing in while I supervise the school work!
As I tidied up the room, I FOUND a lot of UFO’s…. but I will leave that to another post For now I shall keep going with my tidying and catch you all later….
Wow you are all nicely organized these days! Me not so much. My room is a dumping ground it seems for things non sewing related! This must end!

wellcome back to blogland Joy… I have missed you lots… so you moved house? it is sometimes a forced way of doing a clean up. 2012 did go quick…even the youngsters are saying so!!!
