It’s been a crazy half year….. ever since we got back from our 10 weeks in Australia at the beginning of the year, it seems like I have been running non-stop! Every week I thought – this week I will get back into blogging… and by the end of every week I still hadn’t managed it. What have I been doing? Well, to start off with, I decided to shut my little fabric shop…. and contrary to what I expected, one cannot just shut a shop in a day! So with help from some good friends I managed to finish it up by the middle of June. I had some good sales, and kept lots of nice fabric for myself 🙂

Then the opportunity to move into an apartment opposite DH’s work came up, so while I was shutting down the shop, we were also packing up the house and moving… again….

Now our “new” house looks a little a lot like this:

The cats have settled in fine:

But the house is going to have to stay messy for a few more weeks because the kids and I are on a house/cat sitting holiday on a compound again 🙂 Thanks to a dear friend we are looking after the same cats as last year and maybe they remember us because they let me take their photos… Clyde was relaxed on top of a sewing project:

I managed to finish the SAL pincushion today, one day late….
