  2. Yes, it is hard when the leave the nest–in one way we might want them to be on their own, yet–it hurts as we still want to believe that they want and need us–so they need to stay at home!!!
    Sooo–sewing is the best medicine for you–you go, girl!!

  3. I always cried so hard when my kids left home and shouted at myself for being so successful in raising indendant children!! haha…. changes changes but we women move on .. thank goodness for our sewing…

  4. I think I would just enjoy the peace and quiet for a few days, and get a lot of sewing done! Life is constantly changing, isn’t it?

  5. Yup. I spent nearly the whole day sewing on the day that my oldest left home to work in the oil fields. Therapeutic indeed.

  6. I have gone from “there were 6” to “now only one”. Vast difference, but am never bored, and lots to keep busy helps. They all come back at times to visit, now with their own children.
