  5. Hi Joy, it is lovely to read that you had a nice Mother’s day – I see some spoiling went on so that was great! Wow the things they can do with 3-D printers – amazing isn’t it?! The quilt you made your mum is lovely -and how nice that she loved it before it was hers! I hope your sleeping patterns have settled down by now; time zones can be tricky things to deal with!

  6. Love the quilt, it’s stunning. The little machine is so very cute. I got that exact same box of Ferroro chocolates, downside is Lindt is my favourite chocolate. Hugs, xx

  7. Nice presents for Mother’s Day. Those are one of my favourite chocolates too. Ours in North America was last weekend. I got a fancy card from one daughter (she lives far away) and a new cookbook from another daughter.

  8. now I really now just how small that little sewing machine is, as I know how small the shopping trolley is!!

  9. Nice gifts, both given and received! I guess i missed this post while I was at the beach. Glad to hear you’re working on those UFO’s! I had a finish this week, too!

  10. How sweet of you to adopt such a useful young man. LOL A friend of mine’s son uses one in his work. 2015 was the tenth anniversary of our shoebox swap and he made a little plastic shoebox for all of us. The lid comes off and it says 2015 on the side, and it was big enough for two tiny Hershey candy bars. LOL Or a candy and a charm square folded up. It was fun, but not as useful as a sewing machine! Nice mother’s day all around you.
