I’m back at our little apartment, unpacking and cleaning and sorting and… doing all those fun householdy things 🙂 But yesterday we went out and met Kathleen and her hubby for a cuppa because she had some goodies to give me… and wow! They are amazing goodies!!!
She is a quilter too and she knows I love Bernina’s, so she brought this fabric back:
Oh my goodness!! How cute is that?!
The red fabric at the back there with white writing says “stitch stich stich”!!
My mind is spinning thinking about what I am going to make from it!!
Kathleen is from Texas, so she got me a fat quarter with the state flower, and some tea from an Indian reservation – very cool!
On the way home to the States they had a short holiday in Germany and she bought this for me:
Cute cute cute!!!!!! It’s a fridge magnet 🙂 The fun part is that two years ago when I was in Germany I bought one similar to this, except smaller, and when Mum saw it she said – oh how cute! So I gave it to her 🙂 Now I have my own, not giving it away!!!
But wait, there’s more! She ALSO got me these thimbles for my collection:
From left to right: Texas, Continental Divide, New Mexico, Route 66, Gedächtniskirche in Brandenburg & Checkpoint Charlie!
I didn’t have any of these, so I am pretty excited…
Thank you Kathleen! She totally spoiled me, didn’t she?
I’m just enjoying looking at it all and stroking the fabric 🙂 Am I the only one who does that with new fabric?!
