I don’t tend to buy new quilting magazines anymore in Australia… I mean, with almost 200 UFOs who needs more projects?! Not to mention you can get them cheap at the op shops.. or from friends… but now that I am back in Arabia where you can’t buy them, I like to pick some up on my travels.
I also like to bring them back to the shop so that the other ladies can look at them too and get ideas. So while I’ve been here I’ve been trying to find some that look good…. I generally like the German ones, so I bought quite a few:
Then at the station in Frankfurt, I managed to find some English ones too, including a Fons and Porter 🙂
Some of them came with some extra goodies, which is always fun:
I am sure they will come in handy 🙂
While DD drew on the train, I did some stitching… a new Christmas quilt stitchery designed by DD:
I got the bottom half done, and have made a start on the roof…
Nearly done and then I have four more to do 🙂
I am doing them all in brown (brownwork?!) and I ordered some lovely fabric from the Fat Quarter shop to go with it.. more on that another day.
Off to do some more stitching…
