  2. Not sure how you manage to do so much traveling and stay sane. I am trying to get ready for a simple trip to Indiana and I am insane.
Still haven’t gotten my handstitching traced.
And I definitely want to do DD’s when she gets it up on the site so let me know. It is super cute!
I was also naughty and bought some magazines and some patterns that were on sale. One of these days I may be able to sew some of them???????

  3. I don’t buy them anymore for the same reason–well 2 reasons really–one I don’t need anymore ideas–and the price is just too high anymore–I am getting one in the mail now that my quilting friend in NY ordered for me—
the Quiltmaker mag–that is where I got the Halloween door hanging from–started on the hand quilting of that one today, even–
    enjoy the moments, di

  4. Hi Joy ,i also dont buy magazines but tend to buy them when i am away from home, you have a lovely selection there, love Elizabeth’s drawing,i look forward to seeing what you do with it.xx

  5. Don’t buy many anymore. Too much money. Just the occasional one or receive a subscription gift. Have too many as is even after a couple clean outs!
Lovely stitchery. Adore the one color works.

  6. I buy magazines only rarely. Because I have no more room for them and no more room for their project ideas! I have a friend who buys them all and I get to look at hers, so all is good. I think brownwork is a thing. And I hear that you are going to be able to drive soon. 🙂

  7. I buy randomly now …… If I like something in it I buy it……. Used to have several subscriptions but not any more……
Great to take back and show the shops though……..

  8. I try & borrow from the library these days, but do buy Love Patchwork & Quilting as above, the only one now. Look forward to seeing those stitcheries come together. Take care.

  9. The magazines look great Joy… & it’s a great idea to show them around to other sewists for their inspiration. I’m like you; a zillion UFOs, so I don’t need books or mags either!

  10. I still love magazines and have a few favourites I like to buy but nothing like I used to before!! So much already on my wishlist but I still find them interesting! Your stitchery looks nice in the brown – you have a talented DD there!

  11. I have to resist buying Quilting Magazines for that same reason. I have more than enough projects that need finishing up without wanting to start new ones. 🙂

I’m looking forward to more of your Christmas stitcheries designed by your daughter.

Thanks so much for linking up to last week’s Stitchery Link Party. Aloha hugs!
