  1. I use Word and have never tried Publisher – sounds like something I need to explore. I love hard copies of things but soft copies are so convenient to buy with instant downloads…. I find I tend to forget about them stored on my computer though so have started printing out the front page to remind me what I have…wither that or I should try to sort and go through all my computer files more often!

    1. That is a great idea Raewyn! I also forget what I have on the computer, and I must say my files could do with a good sort too!!! xx

  2. Good one again Joy. I used to use an old version of Word on my old computer, but the one I have now came with already installed & I’ve not really learned how to use this properly. My old one I used to do printed labels for quilts, but never been able to fathom it out on this newer version. I really need to get my head around a lot of things. Thanks & take care.

    1. We need to sit down one day and have a look at it together… it doesn’t take long to learn the basics.. xx

  3. If you figure out where to buy some extra time, let me know because I will go buy some of that. You know me and electronics. Even when I buy digital patterns (and there are many); I still print them out so that they are in front of me.
I growl at some because they do not always print nicely into individual pages, but it is still easier to look at.

  4. I like real books and electronic single patterns. I lose single hard copy patterns. They tend to disappear under things or inside books etc. However, there is no replacement for having a book. I often flip through my books for ideas. I never do that with my electronic patterns. I like Raewyn’s idea of printing the front page. Perhaps if I had a folder of those, they might see the light of day more.

    1. Some peoples seem to do it so naturally… or they make it look simple… Hopefully one day I will get better and quicker at it! xx
