It’s well and truly time to do an update on UFO Goals and what Finishing Stitches will be like this year….
Last year my goal was to cut my UFOs in half…. Remember I sorted them all and had 216??????
So my goal was 108… and I finished… 42!!!
Well,Ā we can’t all make our goals every year right? That would be quite boring… š
Actually I am quite happy with my 42… but… I still like to set high goals, so for 2018 I am going to try to cut them in half again!!!

By the way, thanks to the ladies who joined in last year – I think we need a bit of an updated number from some of you… and there will be something in the mail for you when I get to a country with decent mail service, to thank you for participating!!
The good news is that I don’t think I created any more UFOs this year, so I am happy with that!

So my UFOs are down to 174 š
My goal to cut it in half is…. 87….. doable? Let’s see!!

Finishing Stitches for 2018
This year I thought I’d simplify Finishing Stitches… make it even easier for more people to join in… so…
The Challenge each month is to work on your UFOs… any UFOs… you don’t need to get them done.. you don’t have to get lots done, just work on them!
Simple? Good š
And of course if you finish UFOs, then that is great because that is the end goal.
I’ll be back soon with a post on which UFOs I am planning to work on this month…

Hello Joy, of course I will join in… with my lovely lists. I do like the idea of cutting the mnumbers as well as working on some without needing a finish…. I will get back to you about my final UFO finish for last year…

Will I? Won’t I? Dilemma! If I commit to something & don’t get it done, I beat myself up & get so down. I’m feeling blah at the moment & can’t seem to find any motivation, so I do need a push, but from whom, as I’d really like someone in person, as it’s too easy to get distracted with only e-friends & procrastinate, then find you should really be doing mundane chores instead. What does this old lady do. If I join in, can it be sort of sporadic? I’ll try & make a meaningful list & take it from there. Thanks Joy & take care.
42 is fabulous! Especially living in two countries! I had a funny mental picture when I looked at that title, Cut Your UFOs in half in 2018. It was me with a big pair of scissors, cutting all my ufo projects in half and dropping them in the trash can. LOL I never would, it just popped into my head.
Of course I’m in for 2018! I brought my list upstairs, and I’ll try to get a count for 2017 later. And then I’ll share my 2018 info.
