Just like Sovereign Hill in our own home town, Colonial Williamsburg had all these cute little shops…
They don’t have these at Sovereign Hill:
This shop was the best…
The yarn was tempting.. it was mostly cotton, with a bit of wool and silk in it…
Loved the yarn and ribbon chart on the wall…
Then there was this shelf with goodies….
Yes, I went home with a brown paper bag…
With something in it 🙂
DH commented that we seem to be able to smell fabric a mile away….. 🙂
Well, you’ll be pleased to know that the “two posts a day blogging schedule” has now come to an end… Today we are off to Mexico… tomorrow I will post about my second day of sewing with Alice and Lola…
Thanks for sticking with me on my amazing adventure!!
I would of had to purchase that stack of fabrics too–and that cotton yarn would of really been hard for me to leave behind!!
enjoy, di
Fabulous stores. I think we develop an inbuilt radar to sniff out quilts & fabric shops. 🙂 🙂 Hugs,xx
Loving your posts, the anticipation is building here, !!!!
That was interesting & as you say along the lines of Sovereign Hill, but with more places to spend your money (giggle). Have a safe trip to Mexico & take care.
Wowee! Definitely my kind of shop! I so love that blue! Loving following your journey….you have seen some wonderful places and things….keep enjoying xx
Loved Colonial Williamsburg! Nancy
