Melva’s musings about friendships brought a quote to mind – I think the quote “People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime” is so apt for us all. It becomes so clear when we are older that many of our friendships had a place and purpose during the time they happened but would not be a good fit anymore. Those friendships are no less special, they just belong in our memories now.
The declutter is something I am trying to get myself to work on. So many things that are special, probably, only to me. Letting go is really a hard thing, isn’t it?
I have a small collection of hankies and had hoped at some point to make a quilt with them. My quilting bucket list is not the most realistic list. LOL
I hope things are resolving a bit for you and your parents. Take some time for yourself when things get stressful. You will all benefit from it.
