Challenges I have Joined this Year

Last month I was checking out all the new challenges and blocks of the  month going around the internet, and while I have tried to behave myself and not take on too much, I have joined a few to help me stay on track! So many of the challenges are fun and do help keep us motivated, don’t they?

The first one I joined was one I joined last year and didn’t do well with AT ALL! But Narelle was so sweet and let me try again this year 🙂 It is the 1 Christmas Item a Month challenge over at Pins and Whiskers:

Of course I didn’t start the year well either… and didn’t get my one item done last month, but hey, I have a plan for this month, so Narelle, I am really, really going to try hard this year!!!!

Next I joined OPAM 2012:

 

Alice and I joined it in 2009 and we really got lots done. I am not sure what happened the last two years, we missed out somehow. Probably had something to do with moving countries or some weak excuse like that. This year I managed to get in before the end of January and convinced poor Alice to join in as well…. 🙂  I actually managed to get two items finished last month! Amazing! Two strings  table runners:

I’m also working on two strings quilts, but that will keep for another post.

 

Next challenge is Di’s Christmas Club:

 

It is to sew Christmas projects on the 24th, 25th and 26th of each month. I have to admit that I did sew on these days last month, but not on Christmas stuff… I was too busy preparing for classes. But this month I hope to be able to.

Now I think these are all the challenges I’ve joined, just the three, and that is enough for me this year 🙂 I am looking forward to a very productive year!
