Yesterday and today I pottered around a bit… first I had to tackle this:
Once I got it tidy I was too excited to take a picture of it… and started sewing immediately!
Yes I worked on my bags.. and I forgot to take pictures…
I also worked on a mystery project which I will tell you about in a few days…
I prepped some more hearts:
I’ve found out I really need to work on these and any embroidery in the morning when there is enough light… which is a problem because I like to do household chores in the morning, but oh well… The other option of course is to find a light of some sort so that I can sit and relax in the evenings with hand sewing…
Any recommendations for lights???
I printed the next mermaid out, but haven’t traced it yet…
Again, I ran out of light… sigh….

Joy, I absolutely love my Ottlight. It’s a floor model. I have it at the end of my couch. I can now see 100% better to do embroidery etc. if you can’t get one where you are, I think. They make light bulbs too to fit into any fixtures.
I also have a question. I’d love to do your fruit of the spirit embroideries. Is there a place where I can down load them? I’m loving your blog, it’s so sweet.
Have you ever ironed your photo- copy right onto your background fabric? It works!

I just bought a big stand light from Aldi. Sits straight over my head & works perfectly. Other than that a lot of people use those ott lights & say they are good. Hugs,xx
I use a small light like Chooky and really like it as I can take with me everywhere . Have emailed you a pic.
Your blog hope sounds fun, I am struggling just to keep up with reading blogs, and need to get to work this morning, and am putting that off.
