I’m interrupting my quilt retreat updates with this blog post to tell you about a few blog hops I’m participating in this month!
Christmas in July has become quite a thing over the years, and I love it! I love the cold, I love working on Christmas things in the cold, and I love playing Christmas music in the winter! So having Christmas in July is so much fun for me…
Not so much for the kids who don’t like Christmas music in the middle of the year, but oh well… 🙂

Ho HO Ho–I always think of Christmas in July and I usually think I should be working on something that is Christmas related in July–but often that doesn’t work out–like for my OMG goal this month I was planning to hand quilt the teapot quilt that Alice and I did last year–but—I do have a Christmas quilt all basted that I could hand quilt in July–hummmm???

Well Joy, you certainly won’t be idle this month, will you? Look forward to seeing what you get up too, but can’t promise to do any of it. But will be hosting my own Christmas in July retreat here soon, and that is always a lot of fun. Hope you had a good trip home yesterday, and that you are “keeping warm” in this cold weather!!??
Now I feel the need to go find a Christmas project to start! Is there one on my UFO list? Must check.
