Yes, it’s May.. which means it’s Mermay again 🙂
Last year a bunch of us had fun stitching Mermaids and so I thought we’d do it again this year!
I’m going to format it a little bit different from last year – last year you had to sign up to get the stitchery each week via email. This year I am going to keep things simple and have them up here on the blog for a month for you to download.
Since I’m about to hop on a plane to go see my DH for a month, we’re not starting this week…. we will start next week sometime when I am over my jetlag!!
In the meantime, I am going to put up LAST YEAR’s Mermaids for free in my facebook group Stitching with Joy…
In other news…. I had a great big panic yesterday when I couldn’t find my passport!!!!!
Oh my! At one stage I thought I would not be flying out today…. but thankfully after searching through the whole house, I found it in a drawer of a cupboard that I moved from the living area to a corner of a hallway… and of course I had forgotten that I put some “important things” in that drawer because it was in “plain sight”. Of course it doesn’t help if you move the cupboard out of “plain sight”…. sigh…. I think signs of old age are catching up on me!!!!!

Sure, travel can be fun.. but it can also be stressful.. especially if you can’t find your passport the night before you fly out – hahahahaha (hysterical laughter)
Ok, I’d better stop procrastinating and go finish my packing 🙂 I leave for the airport in six hours….. 🙂

I can’t believe it’s May again already. Ugh!!!!! Maybe I will be organized by next May???? I am really glad that we don’t have any travel plans soon. I think that would finish me off, although I do know where my passport is. One of the few things…
