LAST WEEK’S THIS AND THAT
What can I say about last week… gastro, no water and not much of anything getting done! Plumbers were supposed to come today to fix the leak, but then called this morning to say they wouldn’t come until Wednesday.
DH went under the house for the 5th time to try to stop the leak, and this time it seems to be holding! Running water is an amazing thing… hopefully the fix will hold until they come on Wednesday!
THIS WEEK’S THIS AND THAT
In the Kitchen
Last week’s menu plan didn’t go at all according to plan as we still had too many sickies and no appetite. Which is good, because that means there is plenty left to cook up this week.
Menu Plan:
Monday – Quiche & Salad – Yes
Tuesday – Beef Burgundy – Yes
Wednesday – Lasagne – Yes
Thursday -Leftovers – Yes
Friday – Silverside – swapped to Sunday and had leftovers
Saturday – Leftovers – Taco Salad
Sunday – Homemade Pizza – swapped to Silverside
In the Sewing Room
Chook Blocks 3 & 4 – Done!!
Quilt Jean’s flimsy – nope, on next week’s to do 🙂
In the House and Garden
Catch up on washing if the water stays on… – not quite
Catch up on housework – yes

No water is absolutely no fun. We had a clog in the tub this week that we thought we would have to call a plumber for, thankfully My Guy was able to fix it. Hope this week is much calmer and everyone one is well.

No water when you are feeling poorly is rough. Hope your week gets better and better
Sure do hope the plumbers showed up! Kudos to your DH for crawling about under the house and trying to fix it himself. Not easy working in cramped quarters!
