Welcome to Week 1 of our Organize Your Home in 2023 Challenge!
Today is Sunday, and it’s a day of rest for me… so I’m not actually starting any of the week’s tasks until tomorrow… and I am not expecting anyone else to, unless you want to of course!
I just thought Sunday would be a good day to post because it is a day when I plan and think about the week to come…

My Happy Place
I’m pretty sure we have all heard or seen this quote:
My Sewing Room is my Happy Place
This is certainly true for most of us… I love my sewing room and it is my happy place!
But as I was thinking about this quote earlier this year I thought… I want my home to be my happy place too…
So this challenge’s tagline is….
Making our Home Our Happy Place!
I have set up this challenge in a brand new area of its own on our website…. it is free to join in, but you will have to make an account.
This is just a much easier way to run this challenge.
I can schedule each week to go live automatically (I hope…. having a bit of trouble working out how, lol!) so that I don’t need to worry about forgetting to do that on the day!
See… I am trying to be “organized” and get ahead, instead of doing things at the last minute!! I’ll be doing the same with this year’s BOM.
Please be patient with me as I am still learning how to use the software to run this challenge. And please let me know if there are any issues with any part of the sign up process!! If no one tells me, I won’t know!

I must admit I’m a sucker for anything that involves the word ‘organization’ so I signed up. I am mostly organized but I have a ‘thing’ about reading books about organization in hopes I can still get good tips. My sewing space is what I would call ‘organized disaster’ and mostly is a mess but that’s not to say I can’t put my hands on what I’m looking for in a matter of minutes.

Possibly something that I should sign up for Joy, but there is enough happening at the moment. Well done for getting some going.
Thanks for the motivation and direction. I tend to fly off in all directions, so this will help keep me plugging along in one area till it’s done.
Joy, has week 2 come and gone. think I have gotten off track here. Hopefully I did sign up after our correspondence, but could you please check and let me know? I have started thinking seriously about how to proceed.
