  1. Oh, I love the basket. I have to find the pattern and try that out. I have enough squares already cut for at least one, left from my heart. And a pile of blue pieces to cut up still for January blocks and projects … and every other month of the year! I even put a blue churn dash in my brown churn dash quilt – naming it Blue Among the Browns. LOL

  2. Someone has been getting some fabulous fabrics and they are melting my heart! I love your plan of making 2 gifts and keeping one for yourself. Too often we forget ourselves when we sew.

  3. This is a sweet basket, Joy. I would love to be able to make one from hearts fabric, and one from wild scraps. Is this a free pattern available online, or a pay to use, and if so, where?
    Thanks

  4. What a lovely basket. I will have to go back and see what this gift box idea is – I am intrigued!

  5. That is such a beautiful basket, and your stack of fabrics has me feeling a bit jealous. They look amazing! I love the combo of fabrics in the basket and can think of lots of uses for it. Nice job, Joy!

  6. Ok, I’m in. I am off to stitch a basket because I love yours. The blues are so pretty. Who can’t use a cute little fabric basket? I never have enough.
I have several patterns for fabric baskets on the Thermoweb blog, but I’m going to try this one. I added your “one gift a month” button to the sidebar of my blog. I’m excited to join and have some gifts ready when I need them.
Thanks for the great inspiration and for sharing YOUR challenge.

  7. What a beautiful blue basket! I love your “One Gift a Month” challenge idea, so I may try to join in (or at least lurk and see what you’re doing). Thank you!

  8. You gotta love a project that does double duty by working for TWO challenges. Enjoy your new basket when it gets made. Until then, the gift box will just have to share with you!! :o))

  9. Win/win!! You’ve covered the blue challenge AND made something for the Christmas challenge too. I love the basket and might be tempted to make one to store my ‘fabrics-in-waiting’ that are currently in a pile on my cutting table.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I will reply via email as soon as I can!
