  1. Glad to hear you are staying safe. So sorry for everyone being affected by the fire. I am so glad that you were gifted Sylvie. I am sure that her new parents have already spoiled her. I would imagine that her previous parents took exceptional care of her also. All of the dogs you rescued looked to be very well cared for. I’m looking forward to seeing your new BOM, I’ve just about talked myself intosewing along.

  2. The beginning block looks so pretty – I’m sure the rest will be equally so.
Please continue to stay safe…thoughts are with you and all the families who had to leave their homes.

  3. I really like the look of this beginning to the BOM. Fire season is an all to familiar thing in our area, as well. Prayers that you don’t have to evacuate.

  4. Oh that BOM looks interesting! Love your fabrics. Sylvie looks so content there. I wonder if she can smell the smoke from the fires and that’s why she doesn’t want to stay outside? I feel for you having the fire danger in the back (and front) of your mind all the time, praying it will all get put out by a good rain!

  5. Looking at your little iron, I’ve seen notices here in the USA that it has been recalled. So be careful. I do not remember the problem(s) with it.

    1. Thank you so much for letting me know that! I will look into it and see whether it has been recalled here too xx

  6. I love the look of the new BOM – and I always love the fabrics you find. I still haven’t completed the stitcheries from last year so not sure I will get to this years one… I would like to though…. Hope the fire goes out soon – it’s really worrying…
