February ~ Acts of Kindness Challenge
To do:
Perform one act of kindness every day.
Goal:
Spread joy to others and experience the joy of giving.
Instructions:
Each day, perform a small act of kindness. This could be anything from helping a neighbor, complimenting a colleague, or donating to a cause you care about.
Reflection:
How did performing acts of kindness each day affect your sense of joy and connection with others?

This challenge reminded me of something I saw on some blogs a while ago – it was “I Found a Quilted Heart” and the “1000 Hearts Project” where people make hearts and either give them away or leave them for someone to randomly find.
I’m thinking that might be a nice thing to do this month – don’t you?
There are plenty of ideas of what kind of hearts to make if you click on the links above, and you might also consider making some lavender hearts:

Random acts of kindness is something we should all do more of. The world would be a better place for it. Love the heart project but I won’t be using lavender, simply because it makes me sneeze. I love the scent but it doesn’t like me back.
I will definitely be doing some heart sachets later this year when my lavender is blooming. Many years I forget to harvest and the flowers fade and are gone. I also have thought many times about the quilted hearts but haven’t done it before. Thanks for the gentle nudge.
We should all try and be kinder I think…. I need some new sachets, my old ones are no longer scented…
