Welcome to our June “joy” challenge!
Have you downloaded our second Joy Embroidery for the year?

The embroidery is available for free in both the membership and freebies section until the end of June, so make sure to grab it!! The download buttons are at the end of this post.
Next month we will have a new one! It’s already designed, I just need to stitch it up!

May ~ Creativity
I thought I’d start giving you updates on how I went with each challenge.. last month was creativity and I think I did really well! Having the checklist printed out was a huge help:

You can see that I only missed three days… two of them were because I was just way to busy to do anything, the third was because I was staying at my parents’ place and forgot my crochet hook!!! Note to self – leave some spare creativity tools at mum and dads!
June – Nature
I was dreading what the challenge was going to be (remember, I haven’t set these challenges, a friend of mine made them!) which of course is not the goal of experiencing joy this year! But I was quite relieved (and possibly joyful?!) to see that the challenge this month is Nature….
To do:
Spend at least 15 minutes in nature every day.
Goal:
Reconnect with nature to experience its calming and joyful effects.
Instructions:
Make an effort to spend time outdoors each day. This could be in your garden, a park, or any natural setting.
Reflection:
How did spending time in nature each day influence your sense of peace and joy?

I think this challenge is doable.. even though I think it is officially winter here now… it’s the best time for me to go out in nature because it isn’t hot!!
Since the checklist helped me so much last month, I’ve made another one for this month:

And remember I said this last month: “Maybe we can just make it the challenge for every month for the rest of the year….. :)” ?
Well I made a new tracker for this month so I can continue the challenge:

Did you join in last month and if so, how did you go?
If you join in this month, let me know in the comments what your favorite way of being in nature is!
