I thought I’d do a “Christmas in July” themed embroidery for this quarter, and do it in redwork:

June ~ Nature
Update for last month’s challenge – well, it was dismal!!! I can’t say I am too surprised since I really don’t like the great outdoors much unless I am doing something like gardening, and most of the month has been cold and wet – which is wonderful because we need the rain… but not good for the challenge!
Here is how it went so far this month:

July – Social Connection
This month’s challenge is a nice one I think… and I am starting it off well with a week away with my mum… yesterday we packed our bags and said farewell to our husbands for a week! It is going to be a lovely time of chatting and relaxing I am sure!
To do:
Connect with a friend, family member, or loved one every day.
Goal:
Strengthen relationships and experience joy through social connections.
Instructions:
Reach out to someone you care about each day, whether through a call, text, visit, or shared activity.
Reflection:
How did daily social connections enhance your relationships and bring joy to your life?
