This year I’m going to be doing the embroidery in redwork….
Materials Needed for the Christmas in July 2025 SAL
You will need:
12″ square of background fabric
Embroidery Threads
I’m doing mine in red – DMC 817
How this Stitchalong Will Work
I’ve divided up the embroidery into 4 parts, and I will be releasing a part each Monday for the next four weeks. So we will stitch the part for the week, and the next week we’ll add the next part and so on….
Just download the pattern below, print it out, trace the design on your chosen background fabric, pick your thread colors and start stitching!
Stitches used this week are: backstitch

Hello Joy, I have too many projects but I do love your stitcheries and I fancy a redwork one. I’ve only recently finished sewing the teacup critters. I’m just wondering whereabouts in the fabric to put the drawing so that there is room for those that come later?
