Last month, my friend Liz and I went off galavanting to a nearby town called Beaufort. It has the loveliest little shops, and I enjoy visiting a few times a year!
This time we came across a “new-to-us” shop… Bloomin Fresh!

On their website, they describe themselves as:
A mindfully curated store in Beaufort, Victoria. We bring together local produce, slow fashion, natural homewares, and plants.
And inside it really was a delightful display of homemade, locally grown and made items…
There was a whole corner of gorgeous wool:

Unique books, puzzles, socks, and other odds and ends…

I was very tempted to get myself one of these…

and some handmade soap…. it smelled so beautiful!

And some of these:

Out the back, there were lots of plants for sale:

Isn’t this gorgeous:

And then there were a lot of yummies:

I did end up buying some homemade fudge… which was absolutely delicious!!! Sorry, we ate it before I thought to take a photo, lol! And I bought a pot of organic dill… which, so far, I have managed to keep alive…
I really enjoy seeing little shops like these that support local artists and artisans. Be sure to check out their website, there are so many things that would make lovely gifts… think Christmas….???!!!!
Next time I visit, I know I’ll be bringing some more goodies home…!

We grow dill in our gardens here. Is that not a thing done there? Fresh and dried for cooking is so good and not hard to dry. I think I would be in real trouble if I visited that shop. Haha
Loving your emails! Keep them coming!!
Oh what fun! That is my kind of shop, with a little bit of everything plus goodies to eat. 😀
It looks like such a fun shop with surprises around every corner.
