It’s only 10 days till Christmas!!!! Is there time for a sewalong??
Yes, there is!!

Don’t worry, it’s a quick and easy one, like most of the SALs I like to host.
This time we are making a table topper… and using a charm pack. When I was moving stuff around in the studio I saw all my charm packs and thought I really need to start using these….
I only had one Christmas one, so that is what I am using.
Materials Needed
1 Charm pack
1/2 meter of background fabric
Type of Charm Pack to use
As I said above, I am using a Christmas one, but you can use any type. This table topper will make a lovely gift, so you could pick a charm pack you know a friend or family member likes and use that.
What you do need is to make sure the charm pack has at least two of each print – we will need 9 pairs. Usually, the Moda charm packs have doubles, so double-check that before you open your pack.
Cutting
You will need to cut 18 (eighteen) 5″ squares from the background fabric.
Instructions for Part 1
This SAL will be hosted on YouTube! I am going to embed the video at the end of this blog post to make things easier, but you can also watch it on YouTube.
I would recommend watching through till the end, and then going back and sewing along while pausing the video when needed.
Proposed Schedule
The SAL will be in three parts. Part 1 today, and as long as technology is agreeable:
Part 2 on Wednesday the 17th of Dec
and
Part 3 on Friday the 19th of Dec
Get Started!
If you have any questions, and if I have missed anything, let me know in the comments below or on the YouTube video!
Happy Sewing!
