I always love it when my readers send me photos of what they have made with my patterns or tutorials!
Today I wanted to share with you three finishes!
Let’s Stay Home BOM
Aggie sent me these photos last year of her finished Quilt and I can’t remember if I shared them with you or not!
Aggie wanted to make hers a bit bigger and this is how it turned out:

I love how she added the top “Let’s Stay Home” embroidery panel, and the embroidered borders. Here is a closer pic of them:

She hand-quilted the whole quilt, including these hearts in the four patches! Amazing!

Another Let’s Stay Home Finish is by Robbie, I just love the bright colors!

I love how fabric and color choice make the quilts look so different and each one so pretty! I also just love the backing!

Let’s Stay Home was a free block of the month way back when… can’t remember, lol! The entire pattern is now up for sale in our shop! Or if you missed some of the individual blocks, you can purchase the missing ones here on Etsy.
Thumb Pincushions
Sue sent me these photos on the weekend after she made a thumb pincushion using my tutorial!

I love the fabric she used!

A big thank you to Aggie, Robbie, and Sue for sharing these photos with us! I hope they inspire you to make a thumb pincushion or finish some of our patterns you may be working on! And please do send me photos to share!

That quilt was very well done love it
So fun to see how the quilts turn out! xx
Thank you Joy for showing my quilt! I have a correction to make and much as I would love to be able to hand quilt that well, I quilted the quilt on my Sashiko machine which gives the look of hand quilting. Aggie
Oh dear, I think you had told me that once….thanks for the correction, lol! It is still very clever!!! Must look into a machine like that! Thank so much for letting me show your lovely quilt!xx
What beautiful quilts and an adorable thumb cushion! Thanks for sharing these, they are very inspirational. 🙂
I’m always so pleased when I see the projects made! xx
Such beautiful quilts. All that lovely handwork takes it to the next level. I have to get a way to take a photo to share my thumb pin cushion. Love Sue’s fabric choice. Thank you for sharing with us, Joy.
They are so pretty, everyone is so talented! Glad you made a thumb pin cushion – hope you find it useful! xx
Great to see your patterns made up….
Hugz
So much fun! Makes me so happy! xx
Must be such a thrill when you see what others create using your designs! A lady was selling thumb pincushions at our quilt guild last week but hers didn’t have the plastic insert. I told her about that idea and she’s going to try it.
Oh how fun that someone was selling them at your guild! Yes, I definitely recommend the plastic, lol! I love to see how other people use my patterns… they are all so different and pretty! xx
