I’m packing my suitcase… No, not to go back to Oz, it’s a bit early for that, but to go to Dubai 🙂 DH is attending a course there for work and I am tagging along! While he works, I am going to have a lovely holiday! Got my swimsuit…. got some clothes… (they all look a bit pink, don’t they)… and am trying to decide which hand work to take with me, after all, a holiday isn’t a holiday without some stitching, right?!
I am going to bring my SAL needle case stitcheries to do:
I’m using a yummy layer cake that I got from Alice a while ago. I would like to make a couple of these needle cases; let’s see how I go. I’ll bring enough fabric for two sets of stitcheries.
We’ll be staying in a hotel apartment so I can do some simple meals for us while we are there… and I assume make myself cuppas while I am stitching along with one or two of these:
Mustn’t forget to pop them in the suitcase!
I will probably toss some yarn in too…. just in case, and a crochet hook or two always come in handy…. Don’t worry, I will be getting out of the hotel to look around too 🙂 Would you believe after 12 years in the Middle East I have never been out of transit in Dubai? So, there are a couple of quilt shops there for me to hunt down… hee heee…and lots of other stuff to see I am sure!
Off to see what other essentials I need….
