  1. Love the zipper pouch with the sewing machine and the fabric used for your zipper pouch Joy. I also love making them. They are quick, handy for storing all sorts of things and great gifts. I made a lot of fabric dog leads in very bright colours this year for our craft group to sell at our annual craft show in Bonegilla, Victoria. I made a matching zipper bag for each lead that attached with a tab that has a buttonhole and button. The bag was sufficient in size to store the lead when not in use and when in use to carry items such as pooper bags, mobile phone, money etc. they proved very popular. Just another idea for a zipper pouch. Xx

  2. What lovely zippered pouches–each one has it ‘s own ‘theme’ and is very pretty and useful–
think the idea of the 2 zippers a good one–
I have made things with zippers and my biggest issue is the ends of them–they are always bulky looking–so I will be ready for your posting on making them!!

  4. A great assortment of zippered pouches. I like your addition of the added zipper. Are they invisible zippers? I keep seeing fabulous examples of items made with embroidery machines – the Converse zippered pouch. I’m getting closer to getting one.

You can never have too many zippered pouches!!! I’ve made some that I use for toiletry and cosmetic bags, as well as all lots for storing sewing bits and pieces. I think many of us are scared of zips, till we try them.

  5. It has been a while since I made a zippered pouch. The ones from your friend in Oz are beautiful and so professionally made! But I love the others too. I’ll be looking for your tutorial for the double zippered one.
