I can’t quite remember how I came across this challenge… from someone’s blog, no doubt… but it looked like a lot of fun… so I joined in 🙂
It’s a Micro Mini Sew-a-long hosted by Berry Birdy… and looks like I am going to get addicted to these minis as well as the needle turned hearts!!
My first one was made with some half square triangles turned into a pinwheel… and then cut up:
and a few blocks swapped around:
I think it’s called a disappearing pinwheel…
All finished it is 6″:
Then I decided to work on the Moda matchbox one.. so that it didn’t turn into a UFO 🙂
For some reason it turned out just over 6″… don’t know why…
I was having so much fun by this time that I forgot all about finishing bag UFOs and now have two more micro minis in various stages of completion:
The one on the left is made with 4″ scraps and finishes just under 6″ and the one on the right is scraps from the Moda matchbox.. I will do another post on that later in the month…
In the meantime I did do another heart…
Today I am going to finish a bag UFO. Really I am….
