  1. Yes, it snows here in the mountains of Western North Carolina in the US. Where we are, we can get snowed in for four or five days at a time with 8+inches on the ground, and no way to get down the mountain other than to hike down. But, we are retired, so we just enjoy the pristine white until it melts.

  2. It snows a lot here in the winter. I really love it in December for Christmas, I tolerate it in January, I dislike it in February, and in March and April I loathe snow! LOL

  3. I live in Michigan, in the USA. Except in the occasional very mild winters, we get a lot of snow. We have had as much of 15 inches fall at one time. Usually it is just several inches at a time. Because the temperatures are usually near freezing, it tends to stick around and accumulate. We have live in the city, so we have to keep our sidewalks shoveled. Between that and the city road plows coming through, the snow doesn’t look pristine. I love to walk in a gently falling snow, especially at night. It is so beautiful and peaceful.

  4. We get a lot of snow here in Michigan. The only time I like snow is around Christmas time for the holidays. It is quite beautiful and serene at night when all have gone to sleep and I love to see it sparkling on the trees when the sun shines on it. But….. give me mild spring, summer, and fall days and I am very happy.

  5. Well you know what I think of snow and cold and why I am back in Florida–the sunshine state!!!
Though I would love snow for Christmas–but the rest of the time–oh I love watching it fall to the ground–so pretty and soft–but it also got to where in NY it only snowed at night so one couldn’t really watch it snow—!!
    luv, di

  6. Well you should know me well enough to know that I enjoy all seasons, except for prolonged periods of dull grey days. We lived in Batlow, part of the south/west slopes of The Great Dividing Range in N.S.W. & it snowed every winter, also had it occasionally during our time in Hobart, as well as the two times we lived in Ballarat. Here we’ve had flurries in the air, but never settles on the ground. We’ve certainly had some rain though & wind. Hope the pear sets fruit after this. I’ve finished “IT”, even down to the label (big grin under the mask) ha,ha! When out walking & people look worried with their masks on, I tell them I’ve smile under mine & that usually sparks them up a little. Take care & we’ll talk soon.

  7. That totally looks like spring in my area. We can get snow 12 months of the year and do some years, although snow in June, July and August is rare (thankfully).

  8. Lovely photos Joy! I hope it hasn’t done too much damage to your plants. No we don’t get snow here…although we have seen it once on some hills in the distance!

  9. Very pretty photos JOy, but you can keep your snow. Great to catch up with you on Zoom, it has been a fun time, and will post your parcel this morning, so you can get sewing!

  10. brrrrr – I don’t want to think about it! We’ve been enjoying a few more days of warmth here but we know it’s only a matter of time until we dealing with the dreaded white stuff.
