I am not sure what happened to last week… it just seemed to go by so quickly, and not enough time spent in the sewing room I fear…
I did get the next step in the RSS Summer Sewalong done:
It’s such an easy sewalong – this week is catchup week I think, but I might start sewing the rows together…I’m loving using Lori Holt’s Cozy Christmas (affiliate link) fabrics!
I’m slowly making progress on my painted roses crochet squares… only three more outside edges to do and then tucking away the threads…
Went to the movies this afternoon with DD to watch Thor: Love and Thunder… it was good 🙂 It’s been a while since we went to the movies..
And that’s about all the “This and That” I’ve got to share today.. on with the menu plan!
Monday Menu Plan:
Last week’s menu went totally off plan! Sometimes that happens… I found some specials that I just had to take advantage off, and then one night both menfolk weren’t home for dinner, so that means I didn’t do the pork roast and I could save it for this week.
I did get quite a few freezer meals put away, so I was quite happy with that! That means I’ll have some more days where I can sew and not worry about meals…
Here’s what’s planned for this week:
Monday – Leftover Chicken Curry
Tuesday – Pork Roast
Wednesday – Leftovers
Thursday – Meatloaf from freezer
Friday – Chicken Chasseur
Saturday – Leftovers
Sunday – Lamb Roast

The QAL looks like fun. The crochet colors you chose are very pretty! I am waiting for the order of my new yarn to start!
Can’t remember the last movie we went to see in the theatre – and for that matter, I can’t remember the last one we watched on tv either. Started to watch a couple but they weren’t the least bit interesting so we moved on.
I like the colours you’re using for the crochet project and look forward to seeing what it will become.
