  1. So sorry to hear the vertigo is back. I really like that quilt you are working on, but I do think that it didn’t help to have vertigo while trying to place those flying geese! LOL That might have kept my head spinning. I am dealing with vertigo as well and I am sure it is the pollen. Along with medicine, I put two pillow on my bed instead of one. It seems to help a bit. I though I would offer that suggestion.

  2. Have you by chance had the Epley maneuver to see if your vertigo is caused by a piece of crystal breaking off in your ear canal. My husband was in the hospital and couldn’t stand until a therapist tried it. That’s what worked for him. He also had to go through physical therapy for weeks because he has a problem walking in a straight line. The doctors thought a virus might have been the cause.

  3. Joy, I’m so sorry you’re still dealing with this. Please take better care of yourself – don’t worry about us – we’re crafters – we always have something to keep us busy while we wait patiently for your updates. 🙂 I do love that quilt though – it looks perfect for a layer cake that I have that I haven’t done anything with yet! Blessings!

  4. I am so sorry you’ve been dealing with the vertigo – been through that myself. Mine was caused by my lifelong habit of waking up & jumping out of bed. Turns out I’m supposed to wake, turn onto my left side for a moment and then get up slowly. Learned the ‘crystals’ inside the inner ear were the culprit and once I started doing that (and continue to this day) I didn’t have any more problems after a few days. Just took a while for things to settle down in my inner ears…. Take care!

  5. I’m so sorry to hear about the vertigo issues and the hayfever. Not fun stuff. Your FQS quilt is a pretty one. Take care and rest.

    1. I’m so sorry to hear of your problems with vertigo. I remember my mom having it and besides dizziness, her nausea was so bad she could hardly function. Take good care of yourself. Everything else will fall into place. I really like the FQS quilt. Fun border!

  6. Joy, I am so sorry to hear that you are still having issues with the vertigo! I have had it twice in my life and it wasn’t fun. Take care of yourself and don’t worry about the dust bunnies! We are back into winter mode here. It is raining at the moment but they predict 15 cm. in the next 24 hours. Will send you snow pictures as it happens. Take care of yourself,

  7. What a bummer the vertigo is and hanging on to you like that…. Did you know dust protects the surfaces of our furniture???? Seriously I can understand things like that bugging you and especially if there is hayfever……. HOpe you feel a lot better soon….

    Hugz

  8. I hope the doctor has figured out the cause and that you’re feeling better soon. I suspect your followers are perfectly understanding and aren’t rushing you to keep your original commitments so don’t rush things. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with sitting and contemplating the dust you know.

  9. My sympathies because I’ve been stuck in bed with a severe headache! The interesting (to the dr!) was the connection between sinus headache from allergies which makes me dizzy which makes laying flat the only position I can lay! So I can relate with you and say, I am truly sorry for you being behind in everything!!! It takes little doses to get to normal–don’t rush ahead and set yourself back to the beginning again!!!! Hugs.
