Block 1 of our “Say it With Flowers” Block of the Month has been updated with the directions on how to piece the quilt bock, and it is now ready for you to download!
The first block is a lovely combination of purple and pink… with the flower matching the colors of the star.

I have my background fabric and I downloaded the pattern, but I am a little confused. The instructions say the stitches are back stitch, lazy daisy and french knots. From the pattern, it all looks like back stitch to me. This is my first time using one of your patterns so maybe I missed something.

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a few days now, but wasn’t completely sure till I thought of interspersing the star blocks with plain ones to make a larger quilt to donate, so, now I’m in. 🙂 Thanks for designing and sharing this lovely quilt.
