It’s been a busy week – today I dropped DD and her new husband (more on the wedding and all that next week!) off at the airport bus…. I now need to get my house back into order and my life back into a routine, lol!
In amongst it all I decided to do some sewing and bring you all along with me… I thought I’d open a fat quarter bundle that I’ve had for a long time now… I’ll be able to make a few quilts from it.
What you Need for this Sewalong
9 fat quarters
1/2 yard or a few fat quarters for the inner border
1/2 – 1 yard for outer borders
and of course the usual sewing and quilting supplies….
Where will the Sewalong be hosted?
I’ll be hosting the Sewalong on YouTube … and posting the video here on the blog…
How Long will the Sewalong Last?
The sewalong will be in three parts and hosted over the next two weeks….
What will we be making?
We’ll be making a square lap quilt… not sure yet exactly, depends on what we do with borders.

I can’t imagine how you found time to sew amongst all the wedding happenings. I suppose sewing gave you a bit of peace so had to be a good thing.
