On Monday I went to our lovely craft group again… I’d missed it the past two weeks, so it was nice to be there this week.
As usual there was lots going on… sock knitting of course..
And hexies…
And some gorgeous Granny Squares:
These granny squares are called Painted Roses and the pattern is by Sandra Paul. I liked it so much that I went and bought it on Ravelry. Can’t wait to start it!!
The granny squares were being made by Brenda, who had some other lovely things with her, like this sewing pouch called “See My Sewing” by Gail Pan:

Brenda’s got a bunch of cool things in it, including the little thread catcher made with a pringles can…
Brenda also made this gorgeous needlebook:
This was a kit and design by Jennifer Bee and is called Nostalgic Pansy Needle book. Brenda got it last year when she went on a Needlework Cruise… this project was one of the classes she chose on the cruise.
Last but not least, there was also a quilt for show and tell:
Not sure which design this is, but it is a simple and effective quilt, don’t you think? The batik fabric is showcased nicely with this pattern…
So there you have it.. some goodies from Monday Craft… I’m looking forward to next Monday morning 🙂
